Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is committed to mentoring future nurses. One of our goals is to increase diversity among our nursing workforce. We are proud to offer a unique opportunity for you to immerse yourself in the world of pediatric nursing at CHOP through our Pediatric Immersion Experience program.
Qualifications: We are looking for students from diverse backgrounds in their Junior or Senior year of a BSN program, final year of an ADN program, or in an accelerated BSN program.
What to Expect
- 2-3 meetings per month for ongoing communication between nurse mentors and mentees throughout the 3 month cohort
- Observations in clinical practice, education and research will be held based on your availability. There will also be virtual learning opportunities for students as well.
- Learn what it is like to work at a Magnet Recognized organization with a strong Shared-Decision making structure.
