Immersion Program: Villanova on Hill

For the past two years over fall break, I have had the honor of participating in the Villanova on the Hill immersive program in Washington D.C. On this academic adventure, we visited Villanova alumni that serve as influential lawmakers, public policy advocates, lobbyists, think tank analysts, media professionals and federal agency representatives. Members of the alumni network provided us students with invaluable wisdom and testimonies about their career path and experiences on the Hill.

Both trips have been extremely influential for the future of my career in D.C and have given me strong motivations to pursue a career in politics. This program has not only shaped my academic life but has also helped me develop a more positive narrative about my time at Villanova. I have built incredible bonds with my cohort members and created lifelong connections with Villanova alumni. In a time of growing polarization and division, this program provides opportunities for Villanova students to ignite change.
