Career Connections is the bridge that links the Villanova community with high-quality career education content. “Connections” was built on the basis of empowering the community to choose and attain personally rewarding careers! Check it out here!

Connect With Alumni Who Work in a Variety of Fields Through Our BRIDGE Society Mentoring and Networking Events
The BRIDGE Society in the Villanova University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is a student-run and led organization that helps students learn about various professions and career paths within them. How? By uniting Villanova alumni with students at mentoring and networking events to facilitate connection and engagement. Alumni mentors share career knowledge in an effort to help our curious students learn and grow more confident in their abilities, talent, interests and potential.

Below is our slate of BRIDGE Society events for the academic year. Each is centered around exploring careers in a particular set of industries. All events will be held virtually from 4-5 p.m. ET, so you can participate from anywhere you are. Click on the links below to register so that you can learn about careers in:

INTERESTED IN PURSUING A LAW DEGREE?
Have you ever considered Law School but not sure where to begin? Villanova has resources ready for you so that you can be successful! See the full lineup of events for this semester and check out bit.ly/vuprelawevents for more information!

INTERESTED IN PURSUING A CAREER/INTERNSHIP IN GOVERNMENT?
The federal government offers many exciting job opportunities, but they can be difficult to find, track and navigate, complicated by short application windows and information scattered across hundreds of different webpages. The GoGovernment Federal Internship Finder, created by the Partnership for Public Service, will simplify your search for federal opportunities. The tool compiles publicly accessible information about professional and academic opportunities in government for students and recent graduates into one centralized place.

HANDSHAKE
Administered by our wonderful colleagues in the Career Center, Handshake offers students a one-stop destination for all things related to career exploration. Students can register to attend events, apply for internships and jobs, follow companies of interest, etc. It is a dynamic online tool, and all students are strongly encouraged to explore and leverage it. All students automatically have a Handshake account and simply need to activate it by logging in and registering with their VU username and password.

NOVA NETWORK
Similar to LinkedIn but exclusively for Villanovans (students, alumni, etc.), the Nova Network is a terrific place for students to connect with alumni, join affinity groups, and ask career-related questions. Through Nova Network, members can expand their Villanova professional network, connect with Villanovans in industries and/or cities of interest, learn more about industries, initiate conversations and arrange job shadows, and much more.

IIE INITIATIVES
The Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship offers CLAS students many ways to get involved and learn about entrepreneurship. Visit the IIE Web site to learn more.
