Students’ commitment to service during their time at Villanova does not have to stop after graduation. Among the many wonderful post-graduate service organizations, Teach for America (TFA) is a national service organization dedicated to finding, developing, and supporting equity-oriented leaders to transform education and expand opportunities for all children. Aligned with the university’s value of equity and justice, TFA trains and places teachers in under-resourced communities across the United States, fostering meaningful connections and promoting educational growth in the lives of their students. This opportunity empowers social-justice-minded graduates to “bring their values to work” and make a lasting impact.
The current cycle for the Teach for America’s Teacher Corps Application closes on Friday October 25th, 2024.
Additionally, students not yet ready to apply for entry level positions, can apply to the Ignite Program– the TFA virtual, paid, part-time tutoring and mentorship fellowship. The application deadline for the Ignite Fellowship is on November 20th, 2024.
