Resource Spotlight: Sophomore Programs in Accounting, Consulting, and Finance

Are you a First-year or Sophomore student trying to figure out more ways to engage with employers? Do you want an experience on your resume, but can’t get an internship? If so, you should consider applying to a First-year and Sophomore program.

Students who participate in these programs typically have a better chance of landing a junior-year summer internship. Some programs are full internships, others are “externships” or an immersive learning experience, and some are competitions.

The Sophomore Programs resource was created to help you keep track of these opportunities. Now is the time to be looking, as many firms have recently opened applications. Be sure to apply right away, even when application deadlines are far away. Many programs are competitive, so it’s important to get your application in as soon as possible.

While we have compiled some opportunities here, many others are available, so check Handshake and company websites regularly for updates on events and dates.
