A: YES! Even as a first-year or sophomore student, we still encourage you to attend the Nursing Career Fair! Ask employers about summer positions such as CNA, patient care technician, nurse aide, unit secretary, etc. Plus, learn about externships and full-time opportunities for future years. Begin networking now to build connections for the future!
Q: Ok, but I have never been to an in-person Fair before. How can I prepare?
A: Attend the Career Center’s “Prepare for the Nursing Career Fair” workshop! Meeting and interacting with recruiters face to face is still a critical part of the job search process, and the Nursing Career Fair offers you a unique opportunity to make in-person connections with employer representatives. This interactive workshop will provide you the opportunity to get your questions answered and learn about strategies for success before, during, and after the Fair. Register here!
