Kavitha Reddy Goyal, MD is a physician and recently retired senior medical executive at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine with more than 30 years of experience across internal medicine and biopharmaceutical leadership. After 13 years in community and hospital-based practice of medicine, she transitioned to JNJ and had roles of increasing global responsibility over 17 years. She held senior roles in medical affairs and pharmacovigilance, leading global strategy in Immunology (gastroenterology, rheumatology, and dermatology) and contributing to the development and life-cycle management of transformative biologic therapies.
Known for her clarity in scientific communications and inclusive, high-performance leadership, Dr. Goyal brings expertise in drug development, clinical trials, safety and risk management, regulatory affairs, real-world evidence, and activating global cross-functional, matrixed teams.
In her next chapter, she will be serving on non-profit boards and focusing on creative writing, while continuing to mentor emerging scientific leaders and engage audiences at the intersection of medicine, public health, and storytelling. She is excited to connect with current Wildcats as her husband is a passionate Villanova alum!
