ENTRY LEVEL ACCOUNTANT
We are a full-service CPA firm located in Smithtown, NY providing quality tax, accounting and consulting services to individuals and businesses. Our expertise ranges from tax and accounting services to services such as estate and tax planning, analysis of tax consequences of tax motivated transactions, structural analysis, and financial statement preparation.
We are currently seeking an accountant with 0-3 years to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns and projections.
- Prepare client write ups using QuickBooks
- Preparation of financials (SSARS 21, compilations, reviews)
- Tax research
- Ability to perform special projects
Qualifications
- 0-3 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or in process of obtaining)
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Proficient with tax software, Word, Excel, Outlook and QuickBooks
- Strong technical abilities
