Role Description: Special Education Teacher: full-time or part-time

We invite you to consider our Special Education Teacher role, available in full-time, part-time, or contract capacities, all on-site at Esperanza Community Services in Chicago, IL. The Special Education Teacher plays a pivotal role in identifying and addressing the unique educational needs of students with disabilities, crafting Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and fostering a collaborative environment among a team of educators dedicated to providing comprehensive and inclusive education and support for our students.
Qualifications: We’re looking for dedicated individuals who bring the following qualifications to our team:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Special Education
- Illinois State Certification in LBS I or LBS II, limited or unlimited (Previous Type 10)
Entry Level Pay Starting at $61,000 with Bachelors Degree and $68,000 with a Master’s Degree with an endorsement in Special Education.
