Do you want to make a difference in the lives of fragile babies? Come join our dedicated team who works hard every day to ensure that babies who need donor breastmilk can access it. You will be working in our pasteurization milk clean lab as well as managing our frozen milk donations, carefully documenting and tracking all milk supplies to promote safety.
Human donor milk has been proven to be prevent against certain potentially deadly and debilitating diseases that premature infants are particularly susceptible to. We can teach you everything you need to know to be successful here. The ability to work on your feet for several hours at a time, lift up to 30 lbs., have strong computer skills and attention to detail is all that’s required. A positive attitude and good sense of humor are big plusses.
You will learn what it takes to protect infant health by following careful protocols in our processing lab and documenting the work diligently in case there are any health-related issues later. You will learn about nonprofit operations, public health, the needs of families who have vulnerable infants, and the generosity of families who share what they can to help each other. We are a small nonprofit which means you will have the opportunity to get to know everyone at the organization and learn about a wide variety of roles in mission driven settings and the challenges and successes of a workplace dedicated to making a difference. Come join us, share your talents, your interests, your ideas and let’s improve the health of vulnerable babies together.
