Rise@Puratos – Finance
As a member of the Finance Rise@Puratos team, you will develop skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial operations, process improvement, cost control, and performance monitoring. In this role, you will assist in developing and updating budgets, work on financial forecasts, and support variance analysis. You’ll gain valuable exposure to day-to-day financial operations, participate in process improvement initiatives, and learn about internal controls and compliance frameworks. This position will also work on cost-control initiatives, track actual costs against budgets, and support performance reporting by reviewing key financial metrics and analyzing trends.
Summary of Responsibilities: Complete rotations which include a variety of objectives and deliverables including but not limited to:
- Assist in developing and updating company-wide budgets
- Work on periodic financial forecasts
- Support in variance analysis and provide insights on forecast vs actuals
- Gain exposure to day-to-day financial operations
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and automation projects
- Learn about internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Work on cost-control initiatives by tracking actual costs against budgets
- Support performance reporting, reviewing key financial metrics, and analyzing trends
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data
- Assist in preparing financial presentations for management
- Contribute to the development of financial models and tools
- Support the implementation of new financial systems and processes
- Note: Responsibilities may change throughout rotations to provide a comprehensive learning experience
As an ideal candidate for our Rise program, you will possess:
- Senior year or recent graduate (within 6 months) with a bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred majors: Business (Finance, Accounting, Economics or related degree)
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
- Passion for the food industry and Finance
- Previous work or internship experience in the Food or CPG industry is a plus
- Leadership experience in university or volunteer organizations is a plus
- Strong communication and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Self-starter with a drive for collaboration, flexibility, and continuous learning
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
