Job Overview:
Join The Quantify Group, a remote accounting services team based in the Northeast that:

We are looking for a key individual to complete our core team and help us continue to grow.
Responsibilities:
- Record transactions and conduct bank reconciliations.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Assist in financial close processes (cash and accrual basis).
- Allocate expenses across divisions/jobs/classes.
- Prepare payroll journal entries and support budgeting.
- Assist in preparing cash flow for up to 6 months.
- Assist in providing audit support and engage in accounting system design.
- Assist in historical bookkeeping and critical variance analysis.
- Support researching and implementing process improvements and workflow documentation both internally and for clients.
- Serve as the secondary and backup point of contact for a diverse portfolio of clients, creating a friendly and efficient rapport for gathering any additional information needed.
- Independent oversight of workload and tasks for individual clients, communicating up to management about scope creep and opportunities to provide additional support.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience supporting a portfolio of full-cycle accrual-based accounting clients.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Private space to work remotely, allowing for uninterrupted deep dives into the work.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft 365.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Collaborative spirit, respecting and valuing input from all team members, regardless of age or experience.
- Solution-oriented, resourceful, and continuously seeking innovative solutions.
- Proactive, organized, and capable of independent and team-based work.
- Exceptional internal communication skills, with a focus on overcommunication to ensure smooth project progression and efficiency, as emphasized by our leadership team.

Compensation Package:
- Salary: $50,000 – $70,000, depending on experience
