- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Associate’s degree from accredited college

UofL Health – Mary & Elizabeth Hospital
Founded by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth in 1874, Mary & Elizabeth Hospital is a 298-bed primary care hospital offering advanced treatment in orthopedics, cardiology, medical imaging, surgical and emergency services. UofL Health-South Hospital
UofL Health invested in the health of Bullitt County and the surrounding area with the opening of a full-service, inpatient hospital, UofL Health – South Hospital. With approximately 170,000 square feet, UofL Health – South Hospital brings modern and spacious inpatient rooms, enhanced emergency capabilities, increased surgical and outpatient services, new intensive care services, more primary care and specialty providers and more job and volunteer opportunities. South Hospital features:
- Ten-bed intensive care unit and 30 mixed-acuity patient rooms
- Cardiac catheterization lab with 24/7 STEMI network to provide fast, lifesaving heart attack care
