Handshake AI Showcase | Highlight Your AI Skills

Handshake’s AI Showcase feature gives students and alumni a space to explore and share AI-related projects directly within their Handshake profiles, helping employers see tangible AI skills, creativity, and initiative.

AI Showcase allows you to:

  • Discover how students across majors and industries are using AI
  • Share your own AI-related projects and experiences
  • Build a visible portfolio employers can view on your profile

Projects can include class assignments, research, creative work, coding projects, data analysis, marketing content, process improvements, and more.

Why Use AI Showcase?

Employers are increasingly interested in candidates who can thoughtfully use emerging technologies. AI Showcase can help you:

  • Demonstrate problem-solving and technical curiosity
  • Highlight transferable skills and innovation

How to Access AI Showcase

  1. Log into Handshake
  2. Select AI Showcase from the left navigation menu
    OR visit: https://app.joinhandshake.com/ai-showcase/

Note: AI Showcase is currently in beta and may not yet be available at all schools.

How to Submit a Project

  1. Open AI Showcase
  2. Click Submit your project
  3. Add your:
    • Project title
    • Project link
    • Short description including: the problem your project addresses, how AI was used, and the impact or outcome of the project
  4. Click Submit

Tips for a Strong Submission

  • Clearly explain your contributions
  • Focus on impact and outcomes
  • Keep descriptions simple and easy to understand
  • Avoid sharing confidential or sensitive information

AI Showcase is a great way to start building a portfolio of AI-related experiences while exploring how AI is being used across industries and career paths.
