Villanova on the Hill

Program Dates: October 12-17, 2025

Daily Program: Each day will feature several in-person visits to organizations and alumni specializing as public policy advocates, lobbyists, think tank analysts, media professionals, federal agency representatives, politicians and their staff liaisons. One evening will conclude with a networking reception with Villanovans.

Deliverables: Each student will participate in pre-trip meetings with the cohort and will prepare a brief summary on a company or individual that is participating in Villanova on The Hill. During the program, each student will introduce and lead the discussion at one or more of the sessions.

Costs: $1,500 + travel to/from Washington, DC. This $1,500 program fee covers students’ meals, hotel, entertainment, and transportation while on the ground in DC. Each student is responsible for their own transportation to and from the hotel. If you would like to be considered for need-based funding, please check that option on the application.

Accommodations: Students who participate in Villanova immersion programs stay in a hotel on location and share rooms with each other. Rooms are assigned to students and follow university housing policies and guidance. We also take various modes of transportation around the city including the metro, ride shares, and walking. It is central to our mission to make sure we are as inclusive as possible to all members of the Villanova community. Eligibility: Villanova students (undergraduate, graduate, professional studies) who are matriculated students during the Fall 2025 semester. Please note that this is a competitive program.
