Please complete the following application by 11:59pm on Sunday, October 8, 2023.

Program Dates: Sunday, January 7 – Friday, January 12, 2024

Daily Program: Throughout the week, students meet and learn from professionals, including numerous Villanova alumni, with a variety of skills and backgrounds who collaborate together to bring ideas from concept to reality. Participants hear first-hand from investors, entrepreneurs, startups, large companies, and innovators to learn what makes the ecosystem tick; the associated opportunities and challenges; and how to start a career in Silicon Valley/San Francisco. One evening will conclude with a networking reception with Villanovans.

Deliverables: Each student will participate in pre-trip meetings with the cohort and will prepare a brief summary on a company or individual that is participating in Villanova in the Valley. During the program, each student will introduce and lead the discussion at one or more of the sessions.

Costs: $1,250 + travel to/from Silicon Valley/San Francisco. This $1,250 program fee covers students’ meals, hotel, entertainment, and transportation while on the ground in Silicon Valley. Each student is responsible for their own transportation to and from the hotel. If you would like to be considered for need-based funding, please check that option on the application.

Accommodations: Students who participate in Villanova immersion programs stay in a hotel on location and share rooms with each other. Rooms are assigned to students and follow university housing policies and guidance. However, it is central to our mission to make sure we are as inclusive as possible to all members of the Villanova community. If you need a hotel accommodation, please do not hesitate to reach out to discuss your needs and potential possibilities.

Eligibility: All Villanova students (undergraduate, graduate, professional studies, law). Please note that this is a competitive program.

Pre-Program Meeting Dates: The following pre-program meetings are in-person and mandatory for all cohort members. All are at 6:15PM – 7:45PM and will be hosted in the Idea Lab (basement of Falvey Library).
