Meradia Analyst
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analysts will be exposed to management consulting in capital markets. The goal of the position is to cultivate the necessary skillsets to be a high-performing consultant for Front – Middle – & Back – Office transformations. All Analysts will be assigned a sponsor who will guide their weekly activities.
- MERADIA PROJECT – projects or tasks coordinated by their sponsor or team.
- ANALYST TEAM – activities that 2 or more analysts will work on together.
- INDIVIDUAL – learning projects intended to cultivate and demonstrate talents and skills important to the
- craft of consulting.
- MERADIA PRACTICE – weekly sessions designed to introduce Analysts to Meradia’s practice areas, consulting, and capital markets.

REQUIREMENTS
- Analyze business requirements by validating logic, feasibility, and testing assumptions, then make them actionable for development.
- Provide functional guidance to the client through the successful development and integration of new systems.
- Provide clients with research and insight relating to software applications and technology, operations processing, reporting, and performance measurement.
- Maintain project plans, status memos, and procedural and operational documentation.
- Ability to travel – you will likely spend a significant amount of time onsite with our clients. Travel can be as much as 80% to 100% of a workweek and could be international. In addition, you must have a valid driver’s license as many clients are not within the range of public transportation.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Ability to assess and document business needs including systems, data, integration, workflows, output, and the economic impact of each.
- Strong analytical and business skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of a broad range of investment management products including US and global equities, fixed income, and derivative products.
- Basic knowledge of SQL preferred
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in the financial industry as an Analyst entry level.
