Connect with Employers at the Fall Career Fair – 9/4!
Fall Career Fair
Wednesday, September 4, 2024 | 2:00-6:00 pm
Finneran Pavilion
What to Expect: There are 149 employers who will be attending to speak with Villanova students about internship and job opportunities at their organizations. You can find a full list of employers and the positions they are recruiting for on Handshake. The event is open to all class years and majors. Even if you are not currently looking for a position, we encourage you to attend to learn about companies of interest for the future in a no-pressure environment.
How to Prepare:
- Research the companies attending the event by reviewing company pages in Handshake and company websites. Come up with a list of companies you’re interested in speaking with.
- Create or update your resume. Check out the sample resumes and guide for ideas! You’ll want to bring multiple printed copies with you to the fair.
- Develop and practice your elevator pitch including a brief introduction of who you are, what you are studying, and what types of opportunities you are interested in.
- Learn some tips for how to evaluate an organization’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Pick out your outfit so you feel confident at the fair. Need professional clothing? Book an appointment in Handshake for the Wildcat Wardrobe (found under Specialty Appointments) where you can pick out FREE professional clothing.
