
KKR Case Competition – Register by March 29th!
Villanova has been invited to participate in the Wharton Undergraduate Private Equity and Venture Capital Club’s KKR Case Competition.
The case competition is open to all junior and senior undergraduates studying in the US or Canada with an interest in private equity transactions.
Requirements
- Teams should register in groups of 2-4, and teams can cross-register across schools (in the US or Canada).
- All submissions and communication should be conducted by the team captain (Team member 1 on the registration form). Register your team as soon as possible.
- In order to participate in the competition, all registered teams are to submit both a two-page executive summary and all team members’ resumes by Sunday, March 29th at 11:59PM, via the form on the the first round submissions page.
- Top teams will be selected to participate in the final round. The final round will be held on Friday, April 24th, at KKR’s headquarters.
- For the final round, teams are expected to perform an LBO valuation of the target company and prepare a presentation.
- Buyout Proposal Restrictions: Select publicly traded companies with a minimum total enterprise value of $1 billion. You are free to explore both US and foreign buyout ideas.

- Registration and first round executive summary deadline: Sunday, March 29th
- Final round participants announced: Tuesday, April 14th
- Final round presentation RSVP deadline: Thursday, April 16th
- Final round at KKR Headquarters: Friday, April 24th
