| Merck BARDS Team Group Coffee Chat (Graduate Students) • Apply by August 30th Merck’s Biostatistics and Research Decision Sciences (BARDS) Statistical Programming team is hosting a small-group coffee chat for Villanova graduate students interested in learning more about statistical programming in the pharmaceutical industry. Selected students will have the opportunity to connect with Merck team members in an informal setting. (Note: Students who are not selected for the coffee chat are welcomed and encouraged to attend the broader info session/meet & greet at 4 PM on campus!) Who should apply – Graduate students who are currently enrolled in an MS program in computer science, data science, statistics, applied mathematics, life sciences, engineering, or a related field. – Students who have data analysis experience and programming skills, a willingness to learn new programming languages and techniques, strong collaboration skills, the ability to take direction and complete tasks on time, and effective oral and written communication skills. – Interested graduate students should submit their resume via the above coffee chat job posting for consideration by the Merck BARDS team What to expect – Informal conversation with Merck BARDS Statistical Programming team members – Insight into statistical programming work at Merck – Discussion of skills and experiences relevant to the field – Q&A about working in a collaborative, science-driven environment |

| Merck BARDS Statistical Programming Info Session and Meet & Greet September 10 at 4 PM Interested in a career where data, science, and innovation come together to help shape healthcare? Join Merck’s Biostatistics and Research Decision Sciences (BARDS) Statistical Programming team to hear from Merck professionals about how Statistical Programming supports clinical research and the development of life-changing medicines. This is a great opportunity to: – Learn more about Merck and BARDS Statistical Programming – Explore career opportunities in statistical programming and clinical development – Connect with Merck professionals and ask questions – Gain insight into internship and early career pathways Target Audience: The info session is open to undergraduate and graduate students interested in in statistics, programming, data analysis, and making an impact through science and learning more about Merck.
