Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
We offer students the opportunity to spend a summer working at one of Securitas’ US Operating Centers. This internship program offers undergraduate students with real-world application of business within the North America Shared Services organization. You will participate in a 12-15-week internship located in Parsippany, New Jersey for 20-30 hours per week working with various areas of Strategic Sourcing. You will have an opportunity to share new perspectives, fresh ideas, specialized strengths, and technical skills to help grow our business. You will also have an opportunity to present an End-of-Assignment Presentation on the topics you have learned. Successful completion of the internship program could lead to a return internship for the following summer or employment at the organization in the future.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Procurement
• Learn how to use Smartsheet (creation, maintenance, workflow, reporting)
• Assist with the company Credit Card and Postage programs
• Assist in research of items for various reconciliations
• Assist with monthly close process
• Assist Fleet with audits, violations, registration renewals, and recall monitoring program
• Assist Vision area with device recycling program and assigning devices
• Tracking orders and inventory
• Provide support in additional areas as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY
Education/Experience:
Undergraduate students with a Business major with a Graduation date between December 2024 – May 2027
Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):
• PC experience is necessary; knowledge of Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint is a plus.
• Ensures accountability.

• Ability to successfully manage relationships with interpersonal and organizational savvy.
• Effective collaboration skills in working with teams and internal/external stakeholders.
• Excellent planning, organization, analytical, problem solving and time management skills.
